We provide outsource corporate accounts expertise specializing in the medical device sector. One of the biggest challenges for healthcare companies of any size is gaining access to provide their technologies to surgeons and patients.  We have over 20 years of medical device experience in sales performance in the following categories:

Jim Richardson is a strategic leader and growth specialist with proven success in business development, customer acquisition, and sales performance. His understanding of the current healthcare landscape, market trends and reimbursement challenges within the specialties of spine and orthopedics are extensive. Richardson brings 24 years of diverse medical device leadership experience, including the last 10 years in functional vice president and director level sales positions at market leading multinational large cap medical device companies & small-cap/start-up companies in the Medical Technology industry. As Area Vice President for RTI Surgical, (formerly Paradigm Spine), Jim managed one third of the companies top line revenue and led a team of 4 Regional Sales Managers. He created and executed sales metrics, price strategy and distributor incentive structures. RTI Surgical is a leading provider of metal, synthetic and biologic implants used in Orthopedic, Spine, Sports Medicine and Trauma procedures. Jim brings with him a refreshing vision, integrity and exceptional work ethic. He promotes a high performance culture and his trusted interpersonal and communication skills are proven to build world-class sales teams. 

As immediate past Area Sales Director, Zimmer Biomet, (formerly LDR Spine), Jim was responsible for directing strategic and day-to-day sales leadership for the Central Area of the Spine division for 2 years. Zimmer Biomet manufactures and markets orthopedic and spinal medical devices, including total joint replacement, spine stabilization and motion preserving technology used in hospitals and other healthcare facilities around the world. He successfully built and led a team of 5 Regional Sales Managers covering 10 mid-western states and represented over $60M in annual revenue. Jim developed and executed sales force integration strategies following the LDR Spine and Zimmer Biomet merger. 

Prior to the Zimmer Biomet position, Richardson was Director of Corporate and Strategic Sales for Medtronic Restorative Therapies Group, where he was responsible for all contracting and pricing activity across the Medtronic Neuroscience related business units, (Spine, Brain, Pain Therapies), within the central United States. He managed a combined revenue of over $260M and led the strategic partnership initiatives working with both internal Medtronic business unit executives and key customer IDN targets.

He was field based in Chicago, IL from 2009-2016 in these roles. Richardson was with Medtronic since 2004 and held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, corporate accounts and sales management. He consistently exceeded growth expectations and developed sales representatives who advanced their careers into successful leadership positions. Prior to joining Medtronic, he held various sales and training positions at Orthofix, a leading innovator, manufacturer, and marketer of orthopedic and spinal medical devices.
